casey dawg fund - weatherford medical pet fundraiser

A long time client of Dr. Jarrett’s Mr. Steve Winchester, started the Casey Dawg Fund in honor of his beloved beagle ” Casey.” Casey was a wonderful pet but but eventually lost his battle with a long lingering illness. Mr. Winchester wanted to donate to the hospital because of the great care his pet received and to help others who otherwise couldn’t afford it, obtain the same level of care. The fund was initially started in 2010 with $250.00 and has collected donations in excess of $5000 each year. This fund has assisted in the medical care and treatment of many cash strapped owners. In some cases, it has literally made the difference between life and death.

Please consider giving to this very worthwhile charity fund. Simply ask a receptionist, a technician, or Dr. Jarrett about how to donate to the Casey Dawg Fund. ~ Pat Jarrett DVM

The Casey Dawg Fund is not absolutely free. We only require that the client have the initial exam fee and then Dr. Jarrett will diagnose the problem. A discussion with the owner then determines the expenses involved with treatment and how much the client can afford. The Casey Dawg Fund then tries to cover the amount over what the client can afford. It aids in the care and treatment of broken legs, leg amputations, Parvo treatment, emergency and critical care, severe arthritis, advanced dental disease just to name some. The fund is not used for elective procedures such as, wellness check ups, annuals vaccines, or heartworm testing. Once a client accepts money from the Casey Dawg Fund, they are asked to donate to the fund when they are back on their feet and financially able.
